Bat disease hits two more national parks
White-nose syndrome has been found in Acadia and Great Smoky Mountains national parks, just days after it was first confirmed in Alabama.I wish this wasn’t happening :(
What you can do: there really isn’t much, other than raise awareness, donate to research if you can, and if you live near bat hibernation areas, don’t disturb them during the winter. They need as much energy as they can get anyway.
